Modelsuk.co — Model Shoot & Marketing Terms
These terms are intended to make clear how photographs and video created during a Modelsuk.co shoot may be used.
1. Purpose of the shoot
The shoot may be undertaken to create professional photography and/or video content for the model, the photographer and Modelsuk.co.
Modelsuk.co may also use selected images and video created during the shoot to promote its website, photography, videography and modelling services.
2. Use of photographs and video
Unless otherwise agreed in writing before the shoot, the model gives permission for selected photographs and video footage created during the shoot to be used by Modelsuk.co for promotional purposes.
This may include:
- Modelsuk.co and individual model portfolio pages
- Modelsuk.co promotional material
- YouTube and YouTube Shorts
- Instagram, Facebook and other social media
- Website articles and promotional features
- Search-engine visibility and online marketing
- Showreels, promotional videos and examples of photography/video work
- Future Modelsuk.co advertising and promotional campaigns
The purpose of this use is to promote Modelsuk.co, its services and the quality of its photography/video work.
3. Model’s name and personal branding
Modelsuk.co will not deliberately present itself as the model’s personal advertising agency or suggest that Modelsuk.co controls the model’s independent advertising, social-media presence or personal brand.
Where appropriate, the model’s name, Modelsuk.co profile and/or social-media links may be included to identify the model and help visitors discover her portfolio.
If a model specifically requests that her name is not used in connection with particular promotional content, this should be discussed and agreed before publication.
4. Google and search engines
The model understands that content published online may naturally appear in Google and other search engines.
Modelsuk.co may publish photographs, videos, portfolio pages and promotional content for the purpose of increasing the visibility of Modelsuk.co online.
Modelsuk.co cannot guarantee how Google or other search engines will display or rank this content.
5. YouTube
Selected footage from a shoot may be edited into promotional videos, reels or YouTube Shorts and published on Modelsuk.co’s YouTube channel.
The purpose is to showcase the photography/video work and increase the visibility of Modelsuk.co.
Where the model’s name is used in a title, description, tags or other identifying information, this should be consistent with any specific agreement made with the model.
6. Model’s own promotion
The model remains free to promote herself, her modelling work and her own social-media profiles independently.
Modelsuk.co’s use of photographs or video for its own promotional purposes does not prevent the model from using agreed photographs or footage for her own portfolio or promotional activities.
7. Removal or special requests
If a model has a particular concern about the use of an image or video, she should raise this with Modelsuk.co as soon as possible.
Modelsuk.co will consider reasonable requests concerning specific content, particularly where the model has raised a genuine privacy, safety or professional concern.
8. Agreement before the shoot
The model will be given the opportunity to read these terms before the shoot and raise any questions or restrictions before photography or video production begins.
Any specific agreement that differs from these general terms should be confirmed in writing.
9. Understanding
By agreeing to participate in a Modelsuk.co shoot, the model confirms that she understands that the shoot may produce content which Modelsuk.co can use to promote its website, photography, videography and modelling services, including through YouTube, social media and search-engine-visible webpages.
The intention is to promote Modelsuk.co and the photographer’s work, not to take control of the model’s own personal advertising or online identity.
